THE SPIRIT OF TEAM
AWAKEN UNITY • UNLOCK THE KEY
by Oscar and Sarah Ichazo
"Unity brings results."
The purpose of The Spirit of Team–One book is for a team or an individual member of a team to realize a higher level of team unity, with the specific outcome of increasing performance and results. The book shows how to bring the spirit of unity into a team process or what results in achieving "Team–One." With this outcome, it can be said, "Unity brings results."
The book offers the most comprehensive theory in human development in attaining unity originated by philosopher Oscar Ichazo, coupled with Sarah Ichazo's international business experience with large teams to develop five essential aspects for producing results from a united stand—willingness, behavior, performance, potential, and reputation.
The Spirit of Team–One provides a clear presentation of what promotes unity and what doesn't, and why, which broadens your knowledge and awareness in respect to how you personally contribute to the spirit of unity, and how that impacts the team and its results. A higher realization of the spirit of unity into the level of Team–One, a united team, will benefit your work and your life for your betterment and for those around you.

THE KEY
THE KEY
The Spirit of Team–One book is divided into five distinct aspects. Each aspect is important for determining whether the individual or the team is operating at the level of demonstrating unity or the spirit of Team–One. These five aspects are inscribed around a five–pointed figure, an ancient diagram called a "key." A key always has five points, and it is a model of a complete process, with a beginning, middle and end, and it moves in a pattern from point 1 to point 5.
TEAM–ONE KEY
Your WILLINGNESS (point 1), or the team's willingness, directly affects your work. In point 2, your ETHICS builds the basis for the individual or the team to enter the level of unity. Point 3 is your PERFORMANCE and results. In point 4, your POTENTIAL as a team reflects in its success. Point 5 is the REPUTATION of the group, as perceived by your business associates or local business community.
SUCCESS
When all five points are well established, your willingness (point 1) is fueled by the effect of this complete process of clarification, which continues to build upon the other aspects of the key again. This is a self–generating way of clarification and understanding applied to the Team process to build team spirit and unity.

THE ENNEAGRAM
THE ENNEAGRAMS
The Team–One Key is made up of five enneagrams that reflect a positive direction as well as five enneagrams that reflect a negative direction. This also includes positive and negative enneagrams on behavior, as an outcome of ethics.

SARAH ICHAZO
The five enneagrams, including behavior, added to Ichazo's teachings about Ethics (point 2) and the related clarification processes of their positive and negative aspects—Willingness (point 1), Performance (point 3), Potential (point 4) and Reputation (point 5)—were developed and the book was written by Sarah Ichazo. She is the publisher and editor of Ichazo's books through The Oscar Ichazo Foundation, and is the Foundation's Executive Director. Her source for this book is her extensive international business experience of directing large teams in her companies in England, the United Arab Emirates (including three schools), South Africa, Australia, and the United States, as well as real estate projects in Utah, Florida and California. Having worked directly with Ichazo for 40 years (1981–2020) on the publication of his books, journals and training manuals, as well as organizing large reunion gatherings of the Arica School that he founded, she applied her own work experience to complement his teaching of team ethics and incorporated that life experience into the Team–One Key and its corresponding enneagrams.
